Craig Breaks TD Record, Undefeated Harvard Tops Dartmouth

**Craig’s Record-Breaking Day Powers Undefeated Harvard Past Dartmouth, 31-10**

HANOVER, N.H. – Harvard’s historic football season continued its undefeated march on Saturday, October 28th, as the Crimson traveled to Memorial Field and delivered a decisive 31-10 victory over Dartmouth. The contest was highlighted by a record-shattering performance from junior quarterback Jaden Craig, who threw four touchdown passes to become Harvard’s all-time career leader in touchdown tosses.

Craig’s stellar afternoon saw him elevate his career total to 46 touchdown passes, eclipsing the long-standing record of 45 set by legendary Crimson signal-caller Neil Rose, who played from 1997 to 2000. Craig connected with sophomore wide receiver Malik Washington for two of those scores, while finding senior tight end Scott West and junior wide receiver Cooper Austin for one touchdown reception each.

The dominant win keeps Harvard perfect at 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Ivy League play, solidifying their position atop the conference standings. Dartmouth, meanwhile, now holds a 3-3 overall record and a 2-1 standing within the Ivy League.

While Craig’s record-breaking heroics stole the headlines, the Crimson’s comprehensive offensive attack was key to pulling away from the Big Green. Harvard senior running back Harold Chador provided a game-changing moment with a spectacular 70-yard touchdown run, which significantly widened the gap in Harvard’s favor during the second half. Junior running back Graham Blanks also contributed significantly on the ground, racking up an impressive 112 rushing yards. Kicker Atticus Bertrams added to Harvard’s point total with a successful 28-yard field goal.

Despite a strong offensive outing, Craig did throw his first interception of the season, picked off by Dartmouth’s defensive back Qamar White. However, the momentary lapse did little to slow Harvard’s relentless momentum.

Dartmouth’s offense saw quarterback Dylan Ferrera complete 15 of 27 passes for 152 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown strike to wide receiver Brendan O’Neill. Kicker Owen Zalc also put three points on the board for the Big Green with a 27-yard field goal.

The victory also marked a significant milestone for the Harvard program, as it was their first triumph over Dartmouth since the 2017 season, snapping a four-game losing streak against their Ivy League rivals.

Looking ahead, Harvard will return home to Cambridge next Saturday, November 4th, to host Columbia at Harvard Stadium, as they continue their pursuit of an outright Ivy League championship. Dartmouth will also be at home, preparing to host Princeton in what promises to be another crucial Ivy League matchup.
